Yeah, Boston's not hip or anything, but some of that first album was special. And those were Brad's pipes.

"More Than a Feeling," "Long Time," "Party," etc.

I read that he locked himself in the bathroom with 2 charcoal grills. He lit the grills and died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Family members of singer Brad Delp of the classic rock band Boston said his death last week was a suicide.

The family has issued a statement through police in Concord but they gave no other details about his death.

Police, however, said that Delp poisoned himself with carbon monoxide with two charcoal grills he started inside a sealed bathroom.

Suicide part notwithstanding, it seems like that would be dangerous.

I don't think I'd ever go the gas route in a sealed house. At least, not without leaving a very explicit warning note on each door.

I am sure he was not thinking of other people's safety. I hope he at least cooked up some hot dogs and burgers.

If I was his fianace' i'd be beside myself. it would be devastating to be engaged to someone and have them kill themselves. maybe it's slightly egotistical but wouldn't you feel like...damn it wasn't I enough to make him happy? Why would he leave me like this? :(

good point. yep men would rather shoot themselves in the face or die of carbon monoxide poisioning than get married. yeah that sounds about right.
