Apparently he was terminally ill. He was still alive when the paramedics arrived. He shot himself in the face and did not die immediately.

ok see I was wondering if it was health related...he looks terrible in that pic with Chris Rock tha's running with the story. He does not look healthy.


and not dyi8ng right away sucks. that's the main reason I wouldn't shoot myself in the face, because with my luck I wouldn't die, i'd miraculously survive and be terrible ugly and worse off than before taking a bullet to the face.

I used to hang-out with a guy who was blind. He had gambling debts and other problems. He shot himself in the head and did not die. He was blind as a result. I have since lost touch with him since I have moved out of Richmond, Va. He was an alcoholic(he was basically drinking himself to death) and the result of his decision to take his life was met with an even more tragic result than death. He seemed to manage but he will have to live with his action for the rest of his life. It was very unfortunate because he was quite funny and had a promising future as a baseball player when he shot himself in the head.

I have no sympathy or respect for anyone who kills themselves. Suicide is for cowards. Quitting is an easy way out. Anyone can do it.

What's not easy is sticking around for your friends and family and punching back as hard as you can at the shit that life throws at you.
