I have to nominate Panda Express. Just awful steam table Chinese food, and on this side of expensive as well. Horrible, horrible food: oily, yet pretty tasteless. The vegetables are awful.

Hmm...Sonic's chicken burger was pretty greasy, can't say I was a fan of it. Their fries are awfully greasy, too. But their grilled chicken wrap was pretty darn good. Sonic is in the south, the one closest to us is in Fredericksburg, VA.

It was good drunk food though.

When I was in Texas I really wanted to try Whataburger and Sonic... but nobody else wanted to stop. I think they thought I was joking about stopping at the shitty looking fast-food chains. I did finally get to eat at a Waffle House though.

Okay, I take back that I said that there were no fast foods I truly disliked. I found one. Cosi.

In order for a fast food place to be good in my book, it needs to have some healthier alternatives that taste good. So far:

*Hummus sammich - too little hummus, faaarrrr too much onion. A LOT of raw onion. A little is okay, but DAMN.
*Light turkey sammich - "honey mustard" to them includes wasabi. I can't do anything spicy at all because it hurts, and nowhere do they mention it's SPICY AS HELL.
*Shanghai Chicken Salad - good, but they need to lay off the dressing. It was positively soaked. I had to squeegee each piece of lettuce before eating.
*Fennel Chicken Salad - bleh. The dressing is a little too sickly sweet, and the fennel seeds are actually pretty gross.

It's sad because the store has so much potential! The descriptions sound great, but they're not. The bread is awesome however. And I bet the sandwiches that are loaded with fat and calories are good too, but I'm not about to go and eat them.

My sister's boyfriend went to America for a month and had a heart attack, no joke. He said there's just junk food everywhere and it's so cheap it's like impossible to resist. He also blew all his money at Vegas, wrote a movie script and travelled across the country in a beat up convertible.

He said there was this amazing fast food place where you could get a huge burrito for like $2. I can't remember the name. Anyone?

they only chains we have here is mcdonalds, KFC, hungry jacks (burger king), all the pizza hut restaurants have closed, only do delivery now. thats pretty much it. oh, and subway. thats the best.
