Let's see how much you can drink this Saturday!
My grandma on my mom's side was Irish. That's about it.

My last name is Irish, but my dad may or may not have been adopted; we never found out for sure.
So I dunno.

I dont understand the excuse needed to get drunk on St Patricks Day. I am pretty sure I can pull that off any/every weekend.

Very true. I like drinking because it's tradition AND there's awesome deals usually. $3.17 for a pint of Guinness? Sign me up pls.
My father turns 70 on St Paddy's Day (note the Paddy--damn, I'm good Roosta).
My family has Scottish ancestry.

Yup, that's why I asked.
If someone comes up to me and asks me my ethnicity, I'll say Finnish because both of my grandparents on my dad's side are Finnish and I have a Finnish last name and still carry on some of the traditions and foods and all of that.
I'm a stubborn jackass like the Finns, too.

They found traces of blood in my alcohol.
Harp beer and Jameson Irish Whiskey originally came from Ireland. Good stuff.

Last year I went into work so drunk I don't remember being there. I got suspended for a week.
Luckily I don't have a job right now so I can neither go in drunk nor get suspended.

my dad's dad's dad was irish.
I almost bought a t-shirt at CVS yesterday that said "authentic irishman". but I didn't feel like it. it wasn't corny enough.

I'm not at all Irish for as far as I know, but I am partially Polish and German. Which means I can drink cheap vodka and beat your asses at octoberfest.
