Intergalactic - 5 Boroughs tour

Asked this a few years back, but did anyone ever figure out what that sample was from the last minute or so of Intergalactic on the Pageant tour?? Sounded like some brass thing that Quentin Tarantino would nick off a 70s martial arts film.

It's "Parade Strut" by J J Johnson. It was also sampled by Wu-Tang on a track called Uzi.

And your inkling about it being Tarrantino-esque is bang on because I think a lot of J J's work was soundtracks for Blaxsploitation movies.

it's a good sample but the original backbeat is better for sure, nothin like the KING gettin down when that beat kicks in which is why i hope they go back to the original
