Fucking Mondays

Nothing in particular has happened, this Monday is just sucking for some reason. Its extremely dark and gray outside and I sooooo didn't want to go to work today. And now that I'm at work I'm annoyed at everything. I don't really want to do my projects and I can't seem to get past it. Ugggggh.

Oddly, I was in a really, really happy mood this morning, very content and grateful. :)

it was really sunny for a fucking change, i felt sparky and awake, i bought a bunch of mandarins. they were not really ripe enough, but i stabbed one with some scissors and it made my hands smell of citrus and i love that. and then my boss called in sick so i don't really have to do much. and good thoughts were spread and received. s'all good baybee! :cool: i'm going to walk home from work, too. aaaahhhh.

The sun is shining, its warming up outside. I had like 3 cups of coffee. I'm bouncing off the walls. And I may be going to see Claire's friend's band tonight. Today, is a good monday....so far. Until I come down.

This lady keeps trying to tell me that my meeting starts at 4. I'm like, it starts at 3:30. It always starts at 3:30. Every month for like 6 years. Its my frickin meeting, I know when it starts!

Nothing much to report. Read, work, post, make food, eat food, sleep, bike, hang out, shop for CDs or books or clothes, see movie, very occasional concert, stuff like that.

It's pretty rare that I'm happy or have a sense of well-being, so today has been special. (y)

Yep....i think I brought it back to the Northern Virginia area from Nevada/California. Throwing up all night, not being able to keep 2 sips of water in. 102 fever. I'm better now, but one of my friends got sick with the same thing a day later.....and now like 4 people in my office are out with it.

I'm all 'The Stand'ing and 'Outbreak'ing this beeyitch.

I've been sick and so now I come in to work and have a huge pile of things to do. And I only started a few weeks ago so a ton of it is stuff that I have no clue about. And knocked on the bosses door and asking about 5 different items that seem to be lengthy tasks is not what I want to do.

I'm with you x-tina! monday sucks. I'm exhausted from my St. patty's day celebrations. plus it was mega foggy this morning...I woke up at 7 and it was still pretty dark..I thought there was something wrong with my clock and it was earlier and I didn't want to get up. blahhhhh.

mondays are my day off! :)

I was pissed because there was a fraud scare with my debit card, so my bank cancelled my card and I had no cash and there aren't any banks by my house and I could've activated it yesterday, but they mail the PIN separately! so, I was all grumbles about it. but I walked to the subway station to use the ATM and put some money on a train card. then the train came right away and I decided to hop on and ride up a mile to catch a couple of buses to get to my favorite thrift store. I got off the train and the bus came right away! and then my second notoriously late bus only took a few minutes! hooray!

then the sun came out and I found 5 matching frames for 90 cents each that I can use for my art show, a couple of dresses, a top for cort, and some cute cotton lacy sort of night gowns that I can cut up and convert into stylish summer blouses!

and all that only took 2 hours, when it would normally probably take 3!

My monday is yet to start. I'll be leaving shortly for work and all I have to do tonight is rove outside and talk on the radio. I'm quite happy. I don't have to talk to anyone or put up with anybody's shit tonight.

It's gonna be a happy monday.

I'm on tuesday now and things still haven't shaped up.

I've taken to sticking a photocopy of my arm to the inside of the lift to scare people to pass the time.

I hate it when work slows down, i like to keep busy (y)
