i think i'm turning into a zombie

i have some weird disease, i dunno it's like a fever or a cold or something. it started on saturday with a fever and dizziness, then the fever and dizziness got worse on sunday. then i woke up monday morning and had to puke the moment i got out of bed, but i felt fine for a while after that. then i got dizzy again. and today, it feels like a cold, and i'm still not totally fully conscious, but it's not the same kind of dizziness that i had before...before it was this sort of light headed-ness, but now it feels like i've been stuffed with cotton. my footsteps feel heavy, and everything's kind of dulled. i'm pretty sure i'm gonna wake up tomorrow as a zombie, because when i got off the train today, the guy sitting across the aisle from me let out this total zombie moan. it could have been a yawn, but i'm pretty sure he was a zombie. so there must be some outbreak going around.

being a zombie doesn't sound so bad though. just shambling around, looking for brains all day, it could be worse.

nonetheless, if i start posting stuff like "itchy. tasty" you'll know what happened to me

i dunno though, the symptoms are all pretty mild. the biggest complaint is the dizziness, generally. the sore throat is a new development (and it's really rough in the morning, but it gets a little better throughout the day, after a few glasses of water). i haven't had any stomach problems or anything (i dunno what that one puke was about, but it hasn't happened since), but then again i haven't really been eating much.

at first i was afraid it might be gastroenteritis again, so i was afraid to eat anything at all. i'm confident at this point that i don't have that, though. i think i'd know by now

Being one of the early ones, I guess the best you can hope for is to get captured by the government so they can do tests on you. You probably wont be instantaneously destroyed, and they may even figure out a cure before they think to aim for your brain.

oh god today is worse than yesterday. yesterday, i'd have sworn up and down that this thing was on its way out, i felt more or less fine. less dizzy, no fever, just a cough and a sore throat, that was it. i went to bed early, like 9:00 just in case

i woke up in the middle of the night, like 2 am, and literally the only things that i were aware of were my hilariously congested nose and my really quite a bit more sore throat. those were the only clues to my existence, i had to lie there for about 5 minutes, trying to remember who i was, what kind of creature i was, how to move my arms and legs around and stuff. as far as i was concerned right then, i was just a flaming bottle of phlegm or something

i feel a little better now, but that cottonhead feeling is worse, the throat's a bit sorer, and now i'm congested too.

still no fever though, i guess that's good

i got kind of lucky as far as that goes, one of my classes is cancelled all week, and it's the earliest one, too. so i guess if i HAD to get sick, this would be the week to do it, it's a fairly light load
