No pictures of soldiers caskets. Embedded reporters throughout the middle east wars. Secret prisons. And now this bullshit is coming to light,

Scientist accuses White House of 'Nazi' tactics (http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-sci-climate20mar20,0,4909763.story?track=mostviewed-homepage) the LATimes 3/20/07

"I am concerned that many scientists are increasingly engaging in political advocacy and that some issues of science have become increasingly partisan as some politicians sense that there is a political gain to be found on issues like stem cells, teaching evolution and climate change," Issa said.

The Bush Administration has stooped so low it's surreal. How the fuck did we let this happen? I sure hope we as a nation wake up and hold these creeps accountable. How difficult is it for a political opponent to make a valid point to this nation?

what's ironic is the way this administration uses religion, fundamentalism, and "conservatism", and doublespeak propaganda as tools to control the country

Like the Taliban

More on bush's battle against the rule of law

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070320/ap_on_go_pr_wh/fired_prosecutors

WASHINGTON - A defiant
President Bush warned Democrats Tuesday to accept his offer to have top aides testify about the firings of federal prosecutors only privately and not under oath or risk a constitutional showdown from which he would not back down.

Democrats' response to his proposal was swift and firm: They said they would start authorizing subpoenas as soon as Wednesday for the White House aides.
But when it came to government wiretaps their answer was somewhere in the realm of "If you have nothing to hide then what are you afraid of?"

Even when they break the law they get away with it. Even in turning the face of America (in our name mind you) into a loathsome one, they get away with it.

We were sold out here long ago folks. The price was too high to be the world's only superpower.
