So, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are doing a fan made video contest. And I'm going to make one. We start filming this weekend. The best part is no green screen footage this time and the song (like most Chili Peppers songs) makes no goddamn sense so it's a free for all.

Anyways, I like doing making-of shorts as we're making stuff so here's Part 1.

maybe but I'm not holding my breath.

aside from liking the band, I'm doing this one for exposure. Chili Peppers are leagues bigger than Incubus so if I do a video, it'll at least get seen.

i think i've seen the peppers in concert about 6 times. once they were wearing diapers, and once, the socks. the rest were normal dress.

haven't they all been in movies? you could do a video that is a mock montage of their movie parts.

the heroin seems overplayed, almost, since blood sugar sex magic was pretty much about the woes of the drug.

Or have the world's best rhythm section (fictitiously, mind) being pushed off a boat by a talentless vocalist and the guitarist keeping him paid (although both have seen better days; fingerless gloves would communicate this), and the rhythm section being 'drowned' via their bandmates' feet on their heads.
