Bridges is versatile as hell. I really didn't notice that before the Big Lebowski. Most of his other movies are not exactly my cup o'tea (Baker Boys, Sea Biscuit or Arlington Road).

He should've at least gotten a nomination for Lebowski. Brilliant performance.

Fearless is good. Kind of cold, in its way, and he's a dick in it, but it's a good movie. Tuturro's got a small role in it, too, now that I think of it.

The Last Picture Show is terrific.

But, yeah. Way underrated actor.

It kills me that there's this huge buildup through the movie to the reveal of the CPU, and then when it happens, it looks like they raided an Atari and a fingerpaint kit to create the horrifying, evil monster. Pfft.

I mean, the movie's pretty bad even before that -- one of the only times Bridges has ever been bad, too -- but that moment just takes the cake.

Watch the movie "Dungeon Master" if you can. It'll make Tron seem like Citizen Kane!

Did you see tron when it came out in the theatre and felt that way?

Granted, it looks corny now but when I was feasting on the screen with my AD&D eyes, it was the best thing ever.

Yes and yes.

The light bikes looked good; that part always worked; that was about it.

I think The Black Hole prepared me all too well to be jaded about Disney's sci-fi stuff.

Fisher King was one of Bridges best pieces or work... also Fearless....

trivia: the t-shirt worn by The Dude in the scene when The Big Lebowski tells about BUnny's kidnapping("Bummer Man, mind if I do a J?")
was worn by Bridges in The Fisher King... its a gray tee with a Japanese baseball player
