yeah, dry like the TimeChild episode....it seems when their animation picks it up a notch the comedy drops

but the two prior, jesus!

I stopped watching South Park after the third season until a couple of weeks ago by accident because it comes after Top Gear and theres bugger all else on. It just seemed like the same stuff over and over again back then and still seems that way now.

My Northern Exposure dvd's seem like a much better proposition.

The N Word one was fucking awesome.

That show has gotten consistently better as time passes.

I'll go ahead and say it...

I think South Park continuing on the path its on (bearing in mind there are a few shitty episodes) will eventually surpass The Simpsons in hilarity.

are we talking about the bi curious butters episode?

South park was always funniest when they concentrated on the kids' lives and less on the political stuff, because more often than not, they aren't screening episodes when some mad event happens, and then the political episode arrives 3 months too late and all the jokes have already been done by a million B-grade chat show hosts and it just makes it feel tired.

Mind you, that peewee ice hockey league episode at the end of last season wasn't political, but it was fucking dire - just a bunch of recycled jokes from season 6.

I haven't watched any of the ones from this season yet, so I will force a smile and download them and hope that they're of a good calibre.

Hey Freebasser, do you actually have like, a job?

Just because your post count is phenomenal and all my art student friends are constantly busy with drawing jugs and shit.

No dig or anything, i'm just trying to procrastinate.

I spend my days trawling the phone directory looking for design studios to apply for, who then reject me because of my lack of experience.

A dusty office job beckons.

timechild episode was shit. in fact pretty much the entire 10th series was shit. 5th and 6th series will be south park's golden age

No way, man. It just wasn't clever. Talking lice < taking on the N word, Butters being bi-curious.

I remember someone on the board talking about how the voices are becoming a lot alike, which is true. The head lice dude last night sounded a LOT like Cartman.

I've always liked it when they take on political or hot-button issues for their episodes. My favorite in recent memory is the Terry Schiavo knock-off one. (y)

I thought it was kind of funny, in an asinine kind of way.

Plus, Angelina Jolie is an ugly zombie whore, so that is always fun.

Yeah, the rest of it wasn't that funny at all.

^You were watching a re-run if it was the J-Lo/Eric's hand episode. That one was awesome.

This one was about the kids of South Park getting head lice and trying to figure out who it was.

I wonder (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J4m13ILvjTo) how long it will be (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MO9KZK0Kd7Y) before these are removed. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_speGfAnO34) (!)
