Does Bill O'Reilly even try to appear "fair and balanced" anymore? It appears years ago he'd actually try to appear neutral when it comes to politics. But after watching one of his recent "4th Anniversary of the Iraq War" videos, he has blown me away.
He lumps the people in America and their feelings on Iraq into three groups:
1) The patriots who think this war is absolutely necessary in the war on terrorism (President Bush is in this group).
2) The group that O'Reilly belongs to, the group that thinks the Iraq war was a "noble cause to remove a brutal dictator", but he then blames the Iraqis for not "stepping up" and taking their country back. Unbelievable.
Yes, this damned Iraqis! Why haven't they stood up to those terrorists? I mean, its not like every police recruiting line has a chance to be car bombed. They should have picked up the rubble in 2003 and finished rebuilding in 2004! Its not like they had any kind of obstacles...
3) The "small" group of Anti-American, far leftists who believe America was immoral in the war on terror and that we went there only for WMDs and that we shouldn't even be there right now.
Bill continues to call them immoral and a small "minority" of this country.
Then he plays an audio clip of him pummeling a non-factor (pun?) who dislikes the Iraq war who couldn't name someone who was tortured in this war.
O'RLY? So Abu Ghraib never happened?
Yeah, most Iraqis love us, right Bill? The problem is the 30%+ who hate us and would wave around our charred body parts while chanting religious hymns.
