I just found out and headed over here to post it up myself.

White House is threatening a veto, and they probably won't have enough votes to overpower it.

President Bush is a grade-A asshole. The public put these officials in place specifically because of discontent with Iraq and its policies, and trusted these people to do what's best for the country and the war. They have come forth with this bill, it's been passed, and Bush is spitting in the faces of the law and the public by vetoing this.

Fuck him.

"political theater" ?

bush has been acting his ass off this whole presidency,

It should be painfully known by now that he DOESN'T care about the American people and considers anything that doesn't go his way as conspiracy towards him.

he could care less who was elected by who considering he doesn't know what being elected is.
