I heard this old interview already but I find it hard to recognise who's talking, at some point one of the boys says he went to Bard college, can someone figure out who's saying that?

Great stuff man. I'm a huge Howard fan, and this was way before my time, but GOD DAMN does his voice sound so much different. You can tell he was still trying to be over-the-top crazy. Or maybe he was just doing a lot of coke at the time. Or maybe the 86 Beasties just tend to bring that out in people.


edit: Hahaha this is hilarious. Howard is getting so pissed off.

howard had dissed them for years, always saying that they acted like brats. I guess Howard doesnt think they could change after 20 years. besides, Im sure Howards good ol buddy, Rick Rubin, fed him some crap about them and why he shouldnt let them on.

I've heard them play Intergalactic a couple of times in the past year coming out of a commercial break.

Then they had brief discussion about the Beasties and how they've really changed. Artie said he knows someone who knows the Beasties.

my cd burners seems to be stopping after 60 seconds of recording. Its been a long time since I used it so Im trying to work out the bugs.

if gwedo sends me the tapes of stern and *cough* the full desperado, I can do a full transfer in perfect quality and distribute them in any format needed.
