One of my all time favorite albums has to be "Licence to Ill". I absolutley love that album. I'm an intern at UMGD and i recentley came across the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's definitive 200. It's a list that points out the top 200 albums of all time! The Beastie Boys came in number 31 with that album. Check out the list and tell me what you think!

U2 being higher than the Rollingstones seems a bit whack to me, norah jones higher than Miles Davis!!! Speakerboxxx/Love Below higher than Licenced to Ill??? I mean, how was Speakbox/love defining? Maybe Andre's but it WAS a double disc album and Big Boi's didn't break new ground! 50 cent higher than 2Pac, BIGGie, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Clash AND johnny Cash

Yo, but I do love looking at these lists:) so thanks for posting!

Shania Twain shouldn't be on that list.
Neither should 50 Cent, especially not that high up.
Bob Marley should be higher up.
Shakira shouldn't be there.
Public Enemy should be higher up.

Not a bad list, but they need to change it up a little bit.
Good to see that the Beasties are up there, though.

james brown, kool & the gang, herbie hancock, faith no more, dj shadow...
just to name a few that weren't there.

gotta agree with pink floyd, michael jackson, rolling stones and led zeppelin and a few other artists, but the rest on the list are beyond my liking.
