I remember watching The Banana Splits on TV. It was about 1972 or something.
if i'm being 100% honest, my first memory is of shitting my pants
edit: not of shitting my pants per se, but of having shat them and feeling guilty about it

When i was 3 I remember when I got all my front teeth knocked in (not out - into my skull) by my brother when i walked behind him swinging on one of those "baby" swings.
My mum spent 25 minutes searching for the "missing" teeth before she gave up and discovered later in hospital that they were rammed into my skull.
Not as bad as it sounds - apart from that I remember "shit" till I was about 8 or something.
eesh
i think that now that's officially MY first memory somehow, gross

I dunno I got loads of stitches and still have a large "cross" scar on my lip where they stitched my face together that everyone comments on and it was all 30 years ago now.
i should really make up a better story to go with the scar than "I was a toddler who walked behind his brother on a swing".
1 vivid memory of it was that we were promissed ice cream from the posh shop we'd normally get told it was too expensive to get it from (it's still there now - Vissochi's) and while I was holding my face together in the back of the car all my brother and cousins could lament about was "Aww are we not gonna get ice cream from Vissochi's now are we!?"

it was the day after my third birthday (confirmed by my mother), I ran downstairs to the kitchen of our duplex and my mom says, "no no! don't go in there!" because it was all burnt up. the tiles were curled and charred and I really wanted to walk on them. apparently my mom was making french fries for my birthday party and my father did something horrid as always and somehow the kitchen was set aflame. I don't remember the party or the fire. just the tiles.
I also remember laying on the (unburnt) kitchen floor on my back, rolling my head back and forth thinking, "what is happening? I thought heads were completely round, but my head is clearly not rolling smoothly, there's like hard bumps there, interesting". so I asked my mom about it and she told me about skulls and bones and stuff.

so many... i have a good memory so, plenty of memory when i was like 3-4, this is were i can go further back.
- i was with a friend in her yard with other people..it was some sort of party or gathering. Then she bite on a potato and seem to enjoy it..i was eager to try it , it seem juicy and good, i take my bit and ..yuk , i was all of a sudden disgust and remember checking my friend and thought she was kinda weird...nothing good in a raw potato..i learn that at 3-4 years old
- i shit in front of the school , on the grass there , with a friend,,finding it amusing.
- we were playing thief and police or something like that, then i was running away and i fall, a bike roll on my body; my knees and my elbows were all fucked.
- having a crush on my brother friend that was living in front of our place

Being a bridesmaid aged 2 for my cousin. I had a rather fetching bonnet on and i kept trying to pull it off much to the amusement of the congregation. It's halfway down the side of my head in most of the photographs.

my childhood was full of MTV
i was talking to a friend if she remembers screaming whenever britney spears or NSync would come on TRL & seeing carson Daly talking to the audience outside of times square all excited with signs cuz their on Live television. while eating a spice girls lollipop. and me & my brother are watching a new video by some weird white guy calling himself eminem then playing tomb raider on his sega or playstation (can't remember which).
she said yes and we both agreed that looking back on that now, that is very embarrasing (the britney spears & nsync stuff). from what i've just said u can tell that i just described 1998 thru (at the time) a 6 year-olds' view point for y'all.
i can remember even before that but most of it is boring un-embarassing stuff

^ aw, thats so cute!
My first memory is in the front room of my old house when we we still had wooden floors, and I put my Monkee's album in the record player, and grab one of my grandma's dresses and some lipstick, then steal her high heels and go tapping around the front room for hours, playing that record over and over and over again.
