...anybody else watch this? I've been on the fence about Denis Leary for however long now, but my local Blockbuster isn't exactly stuffed to the gills with things I haven't seen or want to see.

So I snagged the first disc of season one, and I think I might be getting hooked. Leary can actually act, too.

Please note any spoilers, 'cause I don't want to ruin this for me.

i'm about three years late on this as well...

i turned on FX one day and they were airing the pilot, "Guts"

it pulled me in instantly... first of all I didnt know how raw and uncensored the show is... Denis Leary really shines... this is his passion project and he has all the ties to firefighters, thats why it seems to come naturally for this show...

the next episode I saw was "Butterfly", a great show focusing on the probie...

I'm literally watching this show and shouting out how goddamn good it is...

Well, I'm gonna snag disc two today after work.

So I'm juggling season one of Rescue Me with season five of The Shield. Pretty good!

I only know about a british series called Rescue Me (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0312194/), but that was with Sally Phillips.

I s'pose we're not talking about the same one?

Nope.

Disc two wasn't nearly on par with disc one. It's kind of straining now.
