Soo... honestley, how bad does it look?

So i decided to dye my hair blond, adn then put blue streaks in it, not knowing that I shouldnt trust someone with no hair dying experiance at all to do it, and it came out looking so fucked that i decided to just dye the whole thing blue. Wellll.... My grams got pissed about 10 mins later and told me to go wash it out and this is the end result:

Now in pictures it looks pretty bad, but on my actual head it doesnt... the top half is turquoise and the bottom is a bright blue.

Im 17 for gods sake - at last im getting it out while im young. I dont wanna be 85 with purple hair! So my grams crying and pissed because the shower is completley blue. She says that im gonna cause my grandpa to have a heart attack and die and if he does die i should just kill myself because if i dont do it she will.

Let's see, i had my hair like, orange and she liked it - I dyed it a dark purple/red and she loved it. I dyed it purple, she didnt care (and that was the whole head) I dyed the tips turquoise and she was pissed but got over it in a day, and now that its blue shes having a heart attack? Oh well, they wont talk to me for a couple of days - big deal, they probabley wont even see it that much, they're always out.

get a packet of blue dye and redye it. don't do what your grandparents tell you to do. it would look better proper blue than washed out blue.

edit: was that only one wash?? how long did you leave the dye on for? what you need to do is double the time you leave the dye on for. 45 mins - an hour is good. proper blue will look awesome.

I bleached part of my hair in high school and put blue streaks in it. Your hair looks like mine did about 2 weeks after I put the streaks in and they started to fade. You need to get some more dye, and put it in for longer. Your grandma will get over it and so will gramps. Re-dye it darker. (y)

if you want the color to be bright and intense don't use shit like Manic Panic or anything cheap like that. go with Fudge, leave it in for at least an hour and cover your hair with plastic wrap, then use a blow dryer on it. only shampoo it every 2 or 3 days, and use a very gentle one at that.

sleep with a towel over your pillow and get some nontoxic bleach to clean the dye off your shower. you're young, dye your hair while you can.

i've got blue and purple in mine right now. considering getting highlights for the first time in my life..and doing those a combo of those colors and green.

I wanted to leave it in for a couple of hours but my grams said that I'd be kicked out of the house if I didnt redo it, and i know shes not lying - I've sat out in snow until 11 pm before.

I had the dye in for about 15 minutes before she told me to wash it out. I know how to dye it, I had it dyed purple and many other colors before but i was forced to wash this out, and everyone at my school loved it, they said it looked awesome, but as much as I love being ignored and kicked out of my house, i decided to redo it.

So far i've tried tide and tomato paste (both suggested by professional hair stylists.) and it hasnt worked. My moms going to get a bottle of bleach and a bottle of brown or something. Because of the Tomato/Tide it's now completley seaweed green. (n) And I am not going to school like this.




Strangely I am unphased by the above statements ^ Seriousley, Not phased even a little bit. It used to bother me, but I've been getting it for so long it doesnt even phase me. Its a messege board people! good lord, If you hate someone who lives a couple thousand miles away than your pathetic.

anyway, aside from the fucked up home situation you're describing, i'd suggest going with a gentle natural dye to get it back to your natural color. and get a really good deep conditioning treatment and sleep with it in your hair. that shit's gotta be straw by now.

Yeah it is pretty bad, now its a dirty blond color on the top with the blue still really vivid on the bottom. The tomato was disgusting. I HATE tomato's and I had to sit with it in my hair for a half hour, and it dripped down my chest and everything. Oh god it was gross. (n) My moms going out right now to get color oops crap and were gonna do that. Then shes gonna get some other color so it'll be back to normal (hopefully) and I wont be able to dye my hair again for another year or so.
Nah im gonna redo the blue (for real) over the summer for my 18th. I'll be 18 and in Florida so they cant say shit.
