Yeah so I started back at the office last week, 2 days a week. I'd been working from home since Feb, but now I'm back at my desk. Which is cool because it's kind of nice being around grown ups all day again. So anyway, now that I'm back, I can't get any work done, because the IT guys need to do some kind of thing with my laptop to enable me to access the server and to allow this particular networking software I use to circumvent the firewall, and until that's done, I can't really do any actual work. So I'm just kind of sitting here pretending, but not actually getting anything done.
It's a bit boring:(

i'm, um, home sick today. *cough* i didn't have court this morning because my judge is doing a murder trial that is going to last all this week. i don't have anything on my calendar because we don't schedule appointments during a trial period, except on fridays, and this friday, we're off. so i had planned to come in late. well, i got up and realized that if i got ready for work, by the time i got in, i'd pretty much have to leave to go to my 1pm hair appointment. by the time my hair is done, it's sorta too late to go to work.
Hair is more important than work. 40% of Americans have ditched work because of a bad hair day.

thanks, yeti. i wasn't sure if i was doing the right thing, even though i called the lead attorney in my division and he said i should be sick today instead of going in. but with your statistics, i'm feeling 90% better about using one of my 2 years worth of sick days.

I do that, but I think they're starting to get suspicious.
Do what I do and send you're colleagues on weird errands
