Baldwin wanted too much money.

Wow.

Guy Pearce was fantastic, and that's probably one of two movies ever made where I wouldn't change a thing, but... Alec Baldwin? That might've been interesting.

Nah. Probably too much baggage. But still...

i thought guy pierce was brilliant in it. even better than his role in LA Confidential

Part of what's funny about this is that Baldwin was Burton's first choice for Batman, as well.
