Body Movin' video

I am a fan of the music of the Beastie Boys, but I have never quite understood the plot of the video to Body Movin'. Apparently it is a parody of Danger: Diabolik and spoofs James Bond.

But why does the sword fighting scene have to end up with the poor guy getting decapitated? Then shortly after he is still alive with a cast around his neck? :confused:

i hear MCA insisted his head was sewn back on after the scene was shot, not sure if thats true or not.....

I never did understand that video too much either. The spaghetti sauce doesn't even look appetizing. It looks more like a liquid mess.

great, great video. but is not only this. it's the genius of the beasties that keep life on the video.
a few people that spoke with me about it here in italy think it's stupid. they've seen the video and decided to dislike beasties.
love that piece in video antology where they show u how has been hard cut the hair in the right way to yauch.....

I think it's their best video. The best part is the bird that flies into the plane and makes it explode. I love how it's not even animated or anything, it's just some bird statue thing and MCA holds it in front of his face and freaks out.
