a squishy oval shaped pad on his right shoulder. it feels like it's filled with liquid. it's about 1x2". it doesn't seem to bother him when I touch it. I am crying.

a growth, a cyst, a liquid-filled sac under the skin. hopefully NOT a tumor.

just sounds like a water cyst...bring him to the vet to calm your nerves....assuming George is a dog/cat of course.

Oh, sorry didn't know he was your son....take him to the dr!!!
a water cyst is harmless. really if it feels like there's fluid in it i can almost guarantee it's harmless.
i got it.
you should see a doctor too then

George is her adopted furry son, not a human one.

i was...mislead
my dog had some lumps on him in his last few years...one on his knee, one on his other knee, and one sort of above his eye. we took him to the vet, but they were all harmless. kinda gross, but harmless.
i know i said he had them in his last few years, which perhaps was a bad way to start the post, but they didn't actually have anything to do with him dying

If he's old and depending on how big it is it could just be a fat deposit. My dog got those when she got old.
It could also be an abcess but its probably not anything to worry about. Even if it is a tumor its on his shoulder, he'll probably be just fine.

well, I did some research. and it seems to be normal, but I should go to the vet and get a needle biopsy. it's not attached to his muscle, it's only just beneath the skin. I can even pull it up and out along with his skin.
so I think everything's going to be alright. there goes my tax return. :/

We just adopted two kitties. They were playing on our front porch and wanted to come inside so we let 'em. They don't have any bumps on them though. They're just really skinny... and they're friends. Right now they're sleeping curled up in each other's paws on our recliner. It's really kind of cute.
Their names are Simon and Garfunkle. Yes... for real.
