speaking of racist things...

my 17 year old niece and her best friend were up for this award thing, and if they won, they'd go to nationals in anaheim. it's some community service thing, i don't know. my niece got the gold and her friend got something else, but this other team ended up scoring higher overall, so that team won. their sponsor was going to protest some of the low marks they got, which were ridiculous, and which would then have them as the winners, but my niece is tired of winning that thing each year and didn't want to go this summer.

my niece was docked points because at some ballroom dancing thing, her bra strap was showing.

but the best part is why her teammate was docked points. when asked what song they used to teach kids how to ballroom dance, she said "stupid cupid." the judge thought she said "stupid cuban" and docked her for making racist remarks about the judge.
