I'll have to check this out, I was working for MTV2 at the show.

Brings back all the fond memories of what a clusterfuck the whole thing became.

The whole shit with selling tickets that night, then the cops coming out in force. Selling the rest an hour before the listed time and then more of the same.

I remember the whole deal from MTV2 and the Beasties people was NO EARLY SALES. I still have a stack of those damn posters in my room.

At least I was able to get myself and a few others in and meet the band later that night.

That's pretty cool. How'd you get to work for MTV 2?

Ian, the OG site admin passed my info along to the guys doing the street level promotion for MTV and next thing I knew I was plastering the college area and a few high traffic streets with posters.

On the day of they show the MTV2 girl walked up and handed my a crew pass and said I was with them from there on out. It pretty much just ment I got to sit front and center and pull some strings for a few people I knew who were being given a hard time outside.

Right before the show started she walked up and informed me I'd be meeting the band, and a few hours later, I did.

I recall teh three of them being blown away by the OGness of my volkswagen medallion. That and MMM is a pretty decent bowler.

There was another boardmember in Vegas on his honeymoon who tried to make it to the show. But unfortunately didn't because of the clusterfuckness of organization.
