The boards go through fazes, sometimes people comment on EVERYTHING, and sometimes they comment on practically nothing.. I wouldn't let it worry you. I've seen old school pros around here not get comments for a week, and then once someone does, it gets the ball rollin'.

Whenever you post up a new mix to the site, as soon as you see that I've actually uploaded it. Post a note here so people know you have a new one out there.

Also, I notice you only have 4 posts' to your name, that means you aren't commenting on other people's mixes either. Give Love, Get Love!

562 comments from me and I haven't made a single mix myself. :p

You definitely have a good ear! (y)

Personally, I don't think mash-ups (taking someone's instro and someone else's vocal) are works of art. Just my old grumpy man opinion. We did the same thing in the early 80's and it was called mixing.

But The Shake Your Rump with Beats to the Rhymes was great! The first verse especially! Awesome!

I checked out some of your other stuff too and yeah, you got a good ear, timing, creativity, etc.

Try using smaller samples, more obscure. Crate dig for a while. Find some Austrian internet radio (which is very kinky btw:D ), sample a groove, add a funky beat, add some sirens, etc...

Just my opinion, try to be honest and helpful...Good stuff though, really.

I gotta' go back to hangin' drywall now, later!

I'm mad at you, I sampled that Beck track and was going to use it but you beat me to it, good job though. I'll have to download your stuff from home to have a listen on a good stereo. But I like what you've done so far.
