Anyone in here watch Life On Mars (http://www.bbc.co.uk/lifeonmars/)? What an ending! Cracking telly. (y)

it was the first time I had ever watched it and I had no idea what was going on, especially the finale.
How was he able to do that?

La la la la laaaaaaaaa!!
I don't have a TV aerial so I watched the first season on DVD (all in one day, it was a fab day), and I haven't got the second one yet (not until it comes down in price).
I bet it was good, though. Was it good? No, don't tell me.

To be honest, I haven't a clue. I'm not sure where he really was and what was in his head...

I saw a bit of the first season, tell me what happened and why he was in the 70s.

Fuck knows - it was all very ambiguous...

I thought they were supposed to be finally answering if he was mad, in a coma dreaming or back in time..hmm....and what was all that about? jumping off the building then going back to the train?

I assumed that him going back to 2006 was also in his head and the jumping of the building was him deciding not to come out of his coma... On the radio at the very end you heard them saying "he's arresting, we're losing him". So when the continuity girl switched off the telly he was dead.
However, i'm probably well off the mark...

I didn't watch Life on Mars but lots of people on 'Points of View' were getting their knickers in a twist because there wasn't going to be a third series.
There is going to be a spin off though isn't there? Set in the 80's?
I would like to see Philip Glenister in leg warmers. (y)

Yeah the spin off with the "Sweeney Style" cop is confirmed. But thats that for Life On Mars. :(
Quality series though - better to be great for 2 series than drag it out till it's shit. A bit like Lost..

It's going to be set in the 1980's and called 'Ashes To Ashes'. I bet Bowie is happy with all the royalties...

Idiot, he should have gone back to his past-self and told him not to go into a coma! Wait, didn't he meet himself as a kid anyway in the first season. And if he died or whatever, does that mean he didn't actually go back in time at all? It was all just a dream he has in a comatose state.

I thought he was going to turn out to be his own Dad or something... Didn't he get his girlfriend aborted in one episode?
Have a look... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-tb66gjimw&mode=related&search=)
