Bush Backed into Corner by the democratic congress. The democratic congress will not talk to him and have denied his funding for war.

Bush said that if Congress did not provide the funds he sought for the war--without deadlines for ending the troops' deployment--some forces already in Iraq could see their missions extended because there would be insufficient money to train replacements, and forces that have already been trained could see their time at home shortened before being sent back.

"It's unacceptable to me, it's unacceptable to our veterans, it's unacceptable to our military families, and it's unacceptable to many in this country," Bush said.

The key word is in the last sentence, and it's unacceptable to many in this country. But not the majority. I am happy to see convictions of the "voters will" being exercised by the democratic congress. What is acceptable is a change in course in the Iraq war, George.

The last sentence in this LATimes article (http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/world/la-ex-bush10apr10,0,2061814.story?coll=la-home-headlines) sums up the hard realities of US politics and forebodes the future of the Wars Bill,

Although Democrats hold majorities in both houses, their margin is too slim to provide the necessary two-thirds majorities to override a veto.

Still, this is a dynamic that has been missing for the past 7 years, open ended disagreement over billions of dollars going into wars.

Ah, presidential vetos. I like how this country votes for these new politicians in order to see a different course in Iraq, just for Bush to spit in the faces of the majority of Americans who put them in place (and therefore spitting in the face of democracy in general) for his own stupid, stubborn, selfish purposes.

He's going down in history as the worst president in history. In all honesty, can you think of someone worse? At least Nixon created the EPA. What legacy will Bush leave behind, other than a monumental national debt and an unfinished, failing war?

At least Nixon created the EPA.

The "P" in EPA turned into Piracy during this administrations tenure.

Nice job protecting the environment (http://www.iht.com/articles/2007/04/03/news/scotus.php?page=1) douchebags.

Let me get this straight, the agency charged with protecting the environment had to be sued (http://www.supremecourtus.gov/opinions/06pdf/05-1120.pdf)into doing the very task for which they were created?

We need a revolution like nobody's business. It's gone way beyond just a bad president.
