Well, I think it's always a good thing. She actually took the time to make you something nice in stead of just buying something.
What kind of cake is it btw? Because if it's a chocolate cake this woman must really love you. Women usually don't like sharing their chocolate cakes.

I enjoyed the cake, I made damn sure every morsel of it was gone. I couldn't not eat every bit of it without feeling awful guilty, like maybe it wouldn't happen again if I didn't...
