They already shot something in Australia. (y) And from the pics and report, it sounds pretty cool.

Actually, it's a good point. It would make perfect sense to shoot a video for all of the songs if they're instrumental. Yeah, I'm just jonesin for that old idea about making a video for every song on an album.

Considering all the "Instrumental" rumors for the new album, and what big fans of Pink Floyd they are, I was actually wondering if they were putting together some type of continous flowing "Opera" type album or concept album ala "Tommy" or "The Wall".
A film that went along to the music would be epic.

Can you have an opera without words? Just curious.
People'd be waiting a LONG time for the fat lady to sing.

I mean, it's their words that I like to hear. I would hope that if there were no words, there'd at least be narration. Like that old Star Wars book with the cassette, and everytime you had to turn the page R2 would go "beeoepepoelwoottwwweeeoeoo"

Enough with the shit-talking though. I would have thought the bolder move would have been singing on the album. Like entirely singing, not just here and there. That's another way of not rapping.

The whole album should be in Pig Latin. I'd buy that shit.

im talking dual-disc action here.
YAUCH IF YOU'RE LISTENING:
i got idears, man. mad idears.
Listen to the album, Watch the album...
i think some bands have put in some weak attempts at something that could be revolutionary. beck's last album, i think sean lennon did something sorta kinda like what im thinking, quite a few - but no one has done it right yet. its like they've missed the point

It's funny you say this... just last night I watched my Bjork dvd of her vids as well as a Massive Attack one. I think the videos from these artists have me appreciate the music more.
The pics we saw of the one video shoot in australia looked soooo dope. All brightly colored and stylized in this 60s vibe.

that australia thing baffles me. those of you vets here, have the beasties ever filmed videos this long before release, and in this case, before the album's even done? i feel there's a possibility that the aussie shoot may be unrelated to the new rekkid.
by the way, whatever came of that russel simmons public service announcement that they were attached to? did that thing come to fruition yet?

poot told me that the australia aquarium footage got used on the aifst extras.
i think that the bboys are artists that have harnessed video better than anyone else, its only natural that they should lead the way with it, and this seems like a logical choice, with the instrumental album
DO SOMETHING BIG!

I feel it could be a new 'Infomercial'. For all of those out there who don't get what I'm saying, I don't mean an actual Infomercial, but rather that before-release bit of creativity used to generate the angle of the album, and get people hyped.

We're talking about something entirely different, that was shot this time around, not in 2005.

maybe that was in reference to the little shoot that an article was posted about the one in australia with the two production guys that they did last time they were there

like the hello nasty infomercial. sounds possible. oh yeah, and dope too.

yauch or not, "Illgotten" would be off the chain for the title of an instrumental album. i think it would be sweet if the boys dropped another album with ill in the title. it'd become a definitive staple of theirs at that point, not to mention it would pump some serious nostalgia and excitement from the real fans.

Well...they filmed the Rhyme The Rhyme Well video on the roof in the winter before the release of TT5B. And the HN infomercial had to be done well in advance of release of HN.
