I can't believe I'm 23 years old and he's 24 and we are playing stupid games.

Granted, they happened only within a few days but this is already retarded and I'm putting a stop to it. (n)

Please tell me that people playing games end once hitting a certain age. Because if this kind of crap happens still once I'm 30... ugh.

You stuck on Project 8 as well?

My reply answers all of your questions.

It never ends but not everyone stays in that 16 year old frame of mind. Like me. I am a distinguished gentleman, obviously.

Maybe it's because I deal with drunks often but there are 40 year old (divorced) women who still have problems like that. Games are a waste of energy so you're doing the right thing. Extended contact should either lead to a resolution and healthy friendship or a mutual reconciliation and lots of makeup sex. So do what you gotta do and get this schlub out of your life.

yeah, like I said, it's only been a few days and this is already retarded.

If I'm 40 and shit like this still happens? Fuck that. Even this past few days thing is so ridiculous to me. Which is not to say that I wash my hands of it, part of it was me too, I'll admit that. But I see how stupid this back and forth thing is already and I'm putting an end to it one way or another.

It makes me sick to my stomach because we are both reacting to each other like 16 year olds, just as you mentioned.

If you're with someone who "plays games," just drop him. It only continues in life if you allow it.

As long as you stick with someone who has destructive behavior, the behavior will continue, because obviously, it's working.

You don't kick them... you use the croquet mallet.

Well put.

There is hope. There are women and men who don't play games but, be careful, it removes the dramatics. Americans tend to enjoy them secretly. :o

I usually AM talking about video games, ha.

And eh, it's all long to explain but we aren't together anymore #1. I don't think I've explained in the other thread what's happened the past few days. We're both just being petty, and unfortunately at times... drunk idiots.

Maybe because it's only been those few days that we have been broken up but it's really lame.

the games don't ever end until somebody grows up.
for some people, it's never.
most people.
the key is really putting the needs of other people that you love ahead of your own needs, while balancing your own wants and desires.
it's a trick and some people never get it.

yeah the ignoring game, that's one I wouldn't be able to stand and thankfuly no one has done it to me.

I talked to him and this whole thing was cleared up and now, I hope, it's over with.

what does playing games mean? in the context of not actually talking about playing actual games, like monopoly?
