Are there any Parisians on the board? I am going there this weekend with 13 other girls on a hen party and we're trying to find somewhere good to go dancing and drinking in the evening. Any local recommendations? We're staying in the Latin Quarter, near the Maubert Mutualite metro station. Merci beaucoup mes amis!

I can't help you, but I stayed in that area, in Bacteria Alley. Watch what you eat.

Just order "escargots" on a menu. You'll be happy then (y)

I'm off to Paris in a few weeks. Like the 4th of next month for a couple of days.

Lol, I reckon "Parisian" is not an alias for condom where you live...

Nope - it isn't(y) I did have escargot though - they were quite delicious.
I also saw a man pulling a winecork on a piece of string as if it was a dog. That was fun. And French men are hotties. Or maybe I just spent too long wondering about the phallic nature of the Eiffel tour and was feeling frisky.

I know! Bloody annoying when you're the only french speaker in the group. I was often tempted to just put a shite French accent on (in manner of Allo Allo) but thought I'd rather not end up in l'hôpital

I hope you used that to your advantage and taught your friends some risky verbs unbeknownst to them :D

ie your friend asking a copper for the directions to the station and actually saying 'can I wax your buttocks with the hind leg of that poodle over there'

All I can recommend is setting as much time aside for the Louvre as you possibly can….can like 2 days…...(y)
