not so much because it's a pain to actually wait 30 seconds between posts, it's just more of an embarrassment thing. every time you go to make a reply and it says "please wait 30 seconds before posting again" what it's really saying is "you nerd, do you really post multiple times within a 30 second window? fucking nerd"

that's how i interpret it anyways. instead of asking you to wait, it should like, compliment your hair or something

it annoys me as my usual posting style is to load up all the threads i find interesting, read them, then decide if i want to post. so i post all at once. my other favourite forum doesn't have this rule (y)

I think the 30 seconds thing prevents spamming as well as informing you to slow it down a little, maybe think about what the fuck you're doing, trying to post several times a minute.
