Fuck, man. I'm falling pretty hard for this guy's work lately. One of the most refreshing and original producers around these days IMO. Given I've pretty much only heard his work with Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse recently, but that's enough to tell that homeboy's a major talent.
anyone heard his solo covers record that hit stores yesterday? anyone else dig his work?

I got the cover album on promo and really hated it to start with... But I have to admit it's grown on me a lot. There's a couple of really shit tracks (the Maximo Park and Kasabian), but the rest have something that is really quite addictive.

I liked his track he did for that radiohead cover album that was out a year or two ago. And of course "Ooh Wee". I havnt heard much of his recent stuff.

Yeah, that's on the cover album too. There's a quarter of a decent album trying to get out of 'Here Comes The Fuzz' too.

he did the remix of Air's Alpha Beta Gaga featuring Rhymefest which is pretty choice.
and I believe he did some cuts on Rhymefest's album, right?

ooh i was totally going to make a thread about the album, too.
i went out and bought it first thing on monday. fuck, it must be the first album i've physically bought in a long, long time.
love it thus far.
i lovelovelovelovelove stop me. great original song, great prince-style singing, great beats, and you keep me hangin' on at the end? fantastic. ticks all the boxes.
i also like pretty green, apply some pressure*, and amy winehouse's version of valerie. she sounds saucy.
*you think this one is shit, parkey? hmm. well. i don't like the singing, but i like the music. what can i say.

That's my problem with it - the vocals. I don't like the ones where he retained the original vocal and replaced the music; the same with the Kasabian cut...
I even like the Robbie Williams cover of The Charlatans... And that's saying something!
