camping stores! and luckily, hobart has a million and ten. it's a haven for people who want to camp in the snow and die probably.
but camping stores, omg. i love thermal underwears. not as much as i love POLARFLEECE - it's like being hugged by the cloak of god. i love all the specially designed clothing with crazy fibres developed by nasa. i love woolly things and furry hats and scarves. i love microfibre shirts with snowflakes embroidered on them. i love the puffy jackets that make a sound when you walk around in them. i love fucking ski pants. my god i do. i love the idea of being warm in the snow. and then just fucking shit up in the cold weather and i'm head to toe in expensive camping store gear. fuck yeah.

i have camped twice, and both times it has ended up with noone speaking to each other. remember the blair witch project? how much they hated each other by the end of it? yeah, that reminds me of my camping adventures.

edit: ohhh you said stores. i read it as stories. i apologise. i do like camping stores, but more the camping/travel/hiking stores like mainpeak. i love all the little knick-knacks they have for camping and stuff, too bad i actually hate camping.

i hate camping with a passion. the only time's i've really gone are when i've been forced to go for school. my last 2 times were the worst. grade 11 was some art camp to Fraser Island where some ppl in our group managed to set fire to fair chunk of the island, on September 11 too. actually i think that's what saved the guys from getting expelled

Grade 12 was camping way up in the Snowy mountains. so fucking far up in the mountains that one day it took us 20 mins to reach the top of Mt Kosciouzko from our camping site. the entire time i wore 7 layers of clothing including a fucking raincoat. i've never been so cold before in my life. i swear i had like a week long bath when i got back to Brisbane.

so yeah, Fuck camping

this is why i fucking lover skaters and graffers, they have the best hoodies. although they don't like it when you steal them. i had the most awesome olive green (my favourite colour to wear) hoodie. no big tacky logo on it either. (y)

but i lost it at a party when i got way too fucking drunk. my own fault. anyway a few months later i saw a guy at a club wearing the same hoodie. i spent 2 hours wondering whether to ask him if he found it, and if so, could i buy it back, cos i've never found a hoodie as good as that. anyway, byt the time i made a decision, he had moved from my line of sight :(

it's camping stories right? well one time we boiled spaghetti over the fire and somehow dropped the whole pot in the sand while transfering it to a bowl. had to strain the fuck out of it with little water left, and wound up eating the gritiest spaghetti ever! i still grind my teeth whenever I think of it.

that being said, I love camping and camping stores.
