What free sofware can I use for remixes?

I would love to remix some Beastie Boys, but I am still looking for the right software. Is there any good FREE software that I can use to create loops out of mp3-tracks and mix them with the a cappella tracks? Thank you very much for your answer!

Acid offers a free demo at there site...i think it's called Acid Xpress or some shit like that

If you have the contingency to get a Mac I suggest the software Garageband or Logic Express. :cool:
