As you enter The band's website, (http://www.qotsa.com/) you get a little taste of the new shit. I like the sound of it a lot, and hope this album is more robotic than Lullabies. I didn't mind that album, but this song has me pretty amped for Era Vulgaris.

The song is pretty plain, but plenty solid.

Ooh, I like the sound of that. It's more Songs for the Deaf than Lullabies.
That last album didn't do much for me really. Some songs were cool but it lacked something. And now I know the thing it was lacking was loudness.
I'm looking forward to the album. Yeeeeh!

The last one just wandered a bit too much. It was still better than I expected, though. But I like all the shit songs on it, like 'You got a killer scene there, man' and 'I never Came'. They might have made better Desert Sessions songs.

Anyway, this new one sounds great.

sick sick sick sorta reminds me, at one point, of devo's girl u want. i don't know why, and i can't explain it. maybe it's the tempo/cadence of some of the lyrics, like "simple as this i'm in love with the risk." dunno.

i like it though.

Trent Reznor, Julian Casablancas, AND Mark Lanegan will all be on the new album. That is a very interesting combo, to say the least.

I've listened to Era Vulgaris about 20 times and I still can't get into it (probably because I get distracted every time I try to listen to it).

I'm excited about this album though.(y)
