I caught the preview out of the side of my eye the other night and I thought it was a upcoming T.V series, same shakey, accelerated, shock technique....I loved the first one,so very well done and a fantastic cast....curse of the sequel looms.....at least Robert Carlyle is in it.....if anyone goes and checks out a review would be smashing....(y)

Oh, I was just invited yesterday to a prescreening of this as part of that movie panel thingie that I'm occasionally asked to be on. So I'll be seeing it Tuesday. I'll let you know.

Has anyone here seen the alternative ending to 28 days later? I mean this fanmade version. What's the difference?

I don't know about a fanmade version, but there's an alternate ending on the DVD.

It advertises that, but that's kind of stretching it. You'll see what I mean.

This makes me realize that Brendan Gleason is in alot of good movies....and he's great in "Beowulf and Grendel" which I recently saw.....I think he deserves his own "vehicle"....if Phillip Seymour Hoffman got one,so should Gleason......:D

I doubt it will be as good as the original but I bet it will be better than most of the so-called scary movies that have been coming out lately

OK so I just got back from seeing this a little while ago.
It's pretty fucking full-on, I'll say that.
What do you want to know about it? Bear in mind that a) I did not see the first film, and b) it's not really my kind of thing in general, so what I have to say will be coloured by those two facts. That said, however, I did enjoy it (sort of) and don't think it was rubbish.

oooh, i dunno. as c said, not danny boyle. also no lovely cillian murphy :( naked :( gutted.
it seems as if they just wanted to make a sequel because of the, uh, 'clever' name. it's not really necessary. just make another fucking independent zombie flick, geez.
hmm, i should reserve my opinion until i see it, i guess.
