i kinda like it better without the guy talking though. the part a minute or two in where he hits the invisible block in front of the fire thing is pretty hilarious, moreso without any talking. it's like, he finally starts to get in the swing of the game, he figures out how hard it's gonna be, and he gets ready, and he backs up, and he gets the screen all scrolled to the right, and he waits for the firestick, and he gets a running start and he oh fuck it's a block

There's a shortcut I saw. The second time he got a mushroom (at 8:08), when he jumped up, he hit the blocks at the top of the screen and broke it. He could have gone through that hole and run along the top of the bricks to the very end, where he could drop down onto the flag at the end.

I've been looking for the rom. A guy credited as RubixsQube did the voiceover and wasn't playing the game. This is an elegant rom though. It looks like a bunch of random deadly shit yet it can all be avoided.

Except that firestick that is there half the time. It's not always there.

it's really an annoying romhack. not the kind where it's hard in the sense that you need to be good at the game to win, but hard in the sense that you need to know how to perfectly exploit every glitch in the game to know how to win
