So...my director was shadowing me today. Watching what I do and reviewing everything with me.

At the end of the day...I sent out a mass email to about 30 people at work saying something like:

"I'd like to thank Sandra for choosing this place to work at. She will be a great asset! I hope you learned alot from me today. You will bring alot of success to our company."

At the end of the email i inserted:

"This email is sponsored by Sarcasm. Your #1 choice for Laughter since 1901"

Well shortly afterwords she came over to me and asked to speak with me in the office alone so i go in. She's like: "what you done was unappropiate and i didnt appreciate it. Even if it was sarcasm. Some other people commented on the statement and couldnt believe you said this."

So of course i had to explain to her that i didnt mean anything by it and then im like: "whatever, i cant believe how serious some people are sometimes! They need to lighten up"

I thought the whole situation was pretty damn funny! I'm not going to change the way I am just to make others "happy." FUCK THAT!

Wow. I'm guessing you're not that interested in actually keeping your job? Because that was a pretty fucking stupid thing to do.

I'm an asshole and a pervert 90% of the time. If I didn't "change my ways to make others happy" I'd be fired from every job I've ever worked at. It doesn't mean I can't be myself at work, it just means I have to watch my damn mouth. Just like when I'm at grandma's house.

Yah I got fired from my last job for stuff I said *bluuuussshhhh*

I sort of have the "i dont care attitude". I never want my bosses to feel that they are in complete control of me! I cant have that:p

Its like:.."fire me, see if i care, i'll just get a better job."

I'm a true entrepreneur:)

Well from how I understand it, basically you said "She's a great person and we're all happy to have her here...not!" Sarcasm in that respect is insulting. Most people will get sarcasm and join in, as long as it's not done in a mean way. At least, the people at my work are that way.

yeah that'll work out until they notice the sparse work history, gaps in time between jobs, short amounts of time at each job, and complete lack of employer based references.

dont be a dumbfuck. Its just work. Pretend like you love it even if its hell.

i remember at my last job, one of my coworkers commented on my lack of decorations on my desk. she was like "you don't even have a picture of your mom?"

i was all "what am i, bob stewart?"

my mom is dating the owner of the company though, i didn't really need a picture of her, she worked across the hall

She's like: what you done was unappropiate
i hope you told her that unappropriate is not a word and you don't appreciate that, along with her poor grammar.
