I've never seen this room before- it doesn't look like the main studio cam. Is this the Beastie Dungeon?

Its more along the lines of fuckin mayhem!! I wish they didnt let anyone listen to the CD before the release date. I dont wanna know anything about it, but people sure are spillin thier guts, givin a ton of detail and shit, and I aint tryin to hear it! I want this album to be a complete surprise thats gonna blow me away but - i guess not. (n)

^^

you just need to stay away from the obvious threads. I saw you posted a bit in the, "The Mix Up: The Honest Facts" thread; probly not the most ideal place to be hanging out if you're trying to remain in the dark.

Ah i know! But I dont think it should be this big of a deal! I just really dont think people should be spilling facts/info about the sound of the CD. I dont want to be listening to it and think "Oh yeah, i remember hearing someone saying something about this part." I want to listen to it and think "DAMN! this is increadible!" I really think thier ruining it. People should learn to include "WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS" or something like that. Its like waiting to see a movie for a year and then going to a site and finding out what happens at the end. Its tom foolery!

It's your own damn fault. DON'T READ THREADS ABOUT THE NEW ALBUM!! If you don't want to know this stuff, then what exactly are you looking for in these threads? You can't put this blame on anyone else but yourself.

stop complaining.(n)

horovitz is standing in front of the cam and it looks like mike is flipping through a notebook

Something was definitely going on when I check it a few hours ago. Diamond had a notebook. Horovitz was moving his head as if listening to music. And Yauch was feeding a ham sandwich to a three-legged zebra.

Sounds like lyric-writing if ever I saw it. (y)

So they released an all instrumental album to the press and then decided to go in and write lyrics? Whoa.

hahahahahahahahahahaha!:D

If they really are playing with vocals right now, i surely hope it's because they want to, not because they feel they have to or because capitol's pressuring them to do so. i'd rather hear the record the way that they want it to sound.

maybe they'll toy with a "director's cut". or i guess, "producers' cut"

Sound like they're just going over the vocal "remixes" Mike D. mentioned before they go on tour for the majority of the summer. They're probably spending time at the studio doing press too.

press at the studio, were there reporters or cameras there?

some studio footage would be ill. that is, studio footage with some sound.

Oh I have no idea where they're doing press or even how much of it they're doing, but with the last record they set up listening stations on old imacs at the O studio. The photos didn't reveal much more then what resembled a makeshift Apple store in a cramped New York office building.
