The way I look at it is......If it bleeds red then it's meat. Period. Fish and poultry alike.

Oh and the wife and I went to this place that reminded me of a thread that beastieangel made.

It was awesome. They had waiters that would come to our table, each with 3 skewers packed with different meat. One skewer would be sirloin, the other would be prime rib, etc. They even had rabbit!!

On the tables, there was a little thing with a green top for keep bringing the meat, flip it over for the red top for "I need to meet me a bypass surgeon"

i have to confess, i don't eat the legs or wings.... but then i have a husband and child with hollow legs, so it's all good.
edit: i also buy leg meat filet. the meat is just as good as the breasts, but it's a darn site cheaper! probably because i always (or try to always) buy organic/free range meat:(

Yeah, I'd have to agree. Sometimes chicken breast is too dry too. I love chicken thighs but I'm not a huge fan of the drumsticks.

And leftover fat for the DOG? Hell no, the fat is the best part of it. My dad used to cook a traditional indian dish which is nothing but slapping slabs of fat on the grill.

i don't roast chickens, i buy chicken breasts and cook them. if i buy bbq chicken i specify that i want the wing quarter so i get the wing and the breast. occasionally i buy a roast chicken from the supermarket on special at the end of the day, and i throw out the thigh/leg/stuffing parts. if there were tramps around, i would give them to tramps.

um haven't heard that but i have heard if you cook at a high temp using a teflon pan things can leak out but its not enough to make you sick or anything.
