Maybe, just maybe they will do it to compete with "The Mix Up."

As we also know, the WHite House will blow the new album out of the water in terms of sales and lyrics.

Do it!

Well, they could if they wanted to, and it would outsell "The Mix-Up."

beastiealbum07 i know your a big fan of the beasties, but your distain for the new album (WHICH NO ONE KNOWS HOW IT SOUNDS YET!) is getting really old.

If your truly a beastie fan you will wait until the album comes out and actually LISTEN TO IT before you criticize it.

Damn if it sounds like PB... I thought Def Jam and the bboys settled thier beef?

I think Beastie Album really is Yauch and he's trying to tell us something! Lol. *clings onto hope for dear life with you* I have no problem with an instrumental if its gonna sound how everyone is making it seem - but I have this feeling that were missing something.... is that just me? I feel like theres a shade pulled over my eyes and that its gonna be magically released on July 10th..

maybe cuz they stopped def jam from releasing this, i don't think the boys would be to happy to have a fight for your right type record be released especially now since they've gotten away from that whole frat image from 20 years ago and stuff imo

Most of the tracks have been released and sound like tracks that weren't good enough to be on Licensed to Ill. You'd rather have a 20-year old outtakes album than a new album of instrumental stuff?

Yeah but I dont think thier as against thier old days anymore as they say they are, and I dont see why they would be so against it because its like an achieve. If Kurt Cobain/BIG and Tupac can release shit after thier DEAD, Im pretty sure the bboys can release shit 20 yrs later.

Absolutely.

Others release while they are "dead".

The boys can release late.

Don't hold your breath waiting for Def Jam to release it, or you'll probably end up dead in the process.(!)

them Def Jammers are fucking sleeping over there.

they should have, or should release a deluxe edition of License To Ill that includes the infamous Beatles cover (they can probably get clearance now that Michael Jackson, who I believe still owns the rights to the Beatles catalog, can use the money)...
and possibly include outtakes, demos, a booklet with rare pix.. something.

I mean what the hell? it's only one of the best selling rap albums of all time.
they put out a 15th Anniversary Edition which was cool, but I think the deluxe idea could really sell. hey I can dream.

Wake the fuck up Def Jam!

maybe cuz they stopped def jam from releasing this, they didnt stop them, DEF JAM decided not to release it. Also, Chuck D wanted no part of it.

i don't think the boys would be to happy to have a fight for your right type record be released especially now since they've gotten away from that whole frat image from 20 years ago and stuff imo

then why did they bother releasing it on thier greatest hits if they wanted to get away from it?

Because they probably didn't have a say in the tracklist of that record. Remember in a couple of interviews when Yauch specified that this was a Capitol decission and not a Beastie Boy one when it came to putting that record out.

Most of the hardcore fans already have the WhiteHouse sessions....BeastieAlbum07 you're gonna have really prove yourself here if you'd like to get into the secret exclusive WhiteHouse club.

Since the beat for Paul Revere was backwards, can you transcribe the lyrics of Paul Revere backwards?

damn i got the "white house" on crystal clear vinyl autographed by russell himself. Good luck getting another copy. Mine has desperado, scenario, and a few other submarine session songs. U probably have never heard of 'tweaker speaker' which is another one, but its explicit lyrics so you cant hear it.

Yeah, what didn't get leaked out now will probably never see the light of day. It's no big deal either. Isn't it just a few songs they were making for a new LP, and they're like half done or something? They're more like rough drafts of songs, if that.

I'd think that if Def Jam would even think of releasing it, the Boys would buy the rights to the songs and hide them away forever.

tweaker speaker is pretty much the best song ever. sorry dude, only a few of us have heard it. Its cooler than "dope little song".... u will have to check the p2p networks to find it. If not your SOL.
