I know exactly what happened. I saw this group in a shop, it was 3 women and 4 kids. There's no way to say this without sounding snobby, but the fact is, there was something definitely unsavoury looking about them. Anyway I didn't much think about them, just noticed them. Later on, after I left that shop, I saw them on the street, and the women start asking me questions about the brand of buggy, and one was touching Mattie's arm, which I didn't like. I tried to move on from them as quickly as possible. Not 2 minutes later I went to get out my bag to phone mr.p, and it was gone. Fucking scumbags had distracted me whilst one of their little Artful Dodgers nicked my purse. I feel really stupid, I totally should have realised it at the time. Grrr.

Probably, but I don't imagine it matters. This kind of shit happens day in, day out in the shopping stretch where I was. That's why I feel so stupid, I already know that there are gangs of petty criminals around that area and when those women came up to me I should have just pushed on through.
