Even though The Mix-Up is a "post-punk instrumental" album, the Beasties have no plans to ditch vocals for good. In fact, they are currently planning another version of the album that will feature collaborations with "a pretty wide array" of "mostly newer" vocalists.

i said this while during the listening of the new album, that some of the songs seem to sound like they could/should have words to them. If they released at Pt2 to it, that sounds pretty cool. But id want it to be the boys, not so much people not bboy related.

anyway I think it's cool to take a break from words some times, I mean I love their voices, but it's freshly different this time, I dig it(y)

i wonder if they'd pick no-names or established vocalists for such an endeavor.

Maybe even Juicy Johnson.
I've heard Juicy Johnson sing and it is horrific, but his beat boxing isn't half bad.

Yes, BUT! Is it rap vocals or singing vocals that are gonna go with it? Maybe both..?

It's probably going to be Miho Hatori and the girl who sang on Picture This on Hello Nasty (Brooke something?). Probably other lesser-known singers as well.

yeah, I mean you don't pull out a record and then the same one + vocals if this has to be done, it should have been done already.
I read in another thread the singles would come out with vocals
why not?!
