at burger king today LOL
so i went through the drive=thru, my order was 5 something and i gave the kid a 20. i left without grabbing my change (have alot on my mind, as you can gather from my other thread). so i parked and went in to get it and the manager hands me 4 bucks. i told her i gave a 20 and they owe me another 10 dollars. she gave me such an attitude and said they have to count the drawer to make sure. so i wait and she comes back and says they're only 3 dollars over in the drawer, and basically i'm SOL. Now, at this point, it's not about the money anymore. it's more the fact that i've had a horrible day and she's giving me this attitude like there's no tomorrow and I KNOW THE KID AT THE WINDOW POCKETED MY TEN DOLLAR BILL. so i start yelling and swearing and said i was going to go over the counter and kick her ass. She threatened to call the cops and i said 'go ahead, i'll wait for them'. i didn't even care if i got arrested, which wouldn't happen anyway but still. The cop was there in like 2 minutes, he walks in the door and looks around for some kind of 'scene'. i waved to him and said 'hi i think you're lookin for meeeee' he started laughing! so he walks over and asks for my i.d. and the manager's i.d. and she starts going off about how crazy i was blah blah blah and i said 'yes, i yelled at her and swore at her'. the cop laughs again! anyway to make a short story even longer than it needs to be he walked me outside and we started talking about my situation and how horrible my day was, etc. he was really cool. i think he wanted to do me.

who doesnt want to do you?
that didnt sound gay...
The kid who pocketed the $10 would be on my enemy list. I would do some detective work and get some info on him, He would pay for it.(I do not get pissed easy or often but when I do....) What a little bitch:mad: The women who bitched you out I would just hate.
Sounds like it would have been entertaining to witness this.:D
that didnt sound gay...

We dont know the kid pocket the money.
and basically i'm SOL
Sorry, I dont know what "sol" means but I find it pretty messed up that you called the supervisor a bitch and told her you were going to kick her ass. It could genuinely of been a fuck up, someone might of overcharged someone else earlier meaning the till would be only $3 up. Resorting to name calling and threatening to attack because she counted the till and it wasnt what you said is a bit extreme.
I dunno, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm siding with the workers because I work in a bar where shit like this happens all the time and being threatened over something you didn't even do isnt fun.

shit outta luck
at least you met that cop huh :D

Well HOTWIFE noticed the mistake right away and parked and went right in. So thats a very small time window for another mistake to happen. The kid would have had to give the $10 to the next customer by mistake. While it could have happen its very unlikely. The $10 had to go someplace. Yeah your scenario could have happend... but IDK.
If I was there I would have payed attention to how the kid acted when accused which I'm sure she did.

No, I meant the guy could of made a mistake earlier. Meaning the till was down money before she even got there.
Say he undercharged someone 2hrs before she got there (I doubt they're on the till for that long but I'm merely showing this could of happened earlier) causing the till to be $7 under (although, yes, this is a large number a lot of little mistakes can add up). And say he puts hotwifes money in the till (she gave $14 too much right?) this causes the till to now be $7 up. The supervisor gives her back $4 (as she thought it was just $10 hotwife handed over) this causes the till to now be $3 up. Hence why when the till was counted there was only $3 extra in it.
I'm not saying this is what happened, just giving a reason for why the supervisor being yelled at is messed up.
Also, hotwife, I'm sure I'm not your bestest friend right now so what I'm about to say probably cant piss you off any more....but are you sure you gave him a 20? You have pointed out you were in a little bit of a mess and that you made a mistake. Again, I've seen situations where this has happened.

i was in this exact situation once years ago as a cashier at a shitty restaurant. woman swore she gave me a 100, when in reality she gave me a twenty. she came back screaming about it, and we went back and counted my drawer and i was maybe a penny over or under as usual. my drawer was almost always perfect. she was accusing me of the same thing, and i would NEVER have done something like that. ever. we even went back and reviewed the security camera down to the frame where she handed me the bill. it was impossible to be sure but it looked more like a 20 than a 100. this woman would not take that for an answer, and was so antagonizing. i'm just glad my managers knew me well enough to know i wouldn't have done something like that. i didn't even have any hundreds in my drawer. this bitch was so mean to me over something i DIDN'T DO. almost made me cry.
not to be a dick hotwife but you sound like a real asshole right now. sure you were having a bad day, but that's no excuse for treating people like that. more likely than not that kid was just doing his job and either one of you made an honest mistake.

damn right i am!
yesterday i saw a crazy-ass old van with an even crazier-ass old guy driving it. the van had an american flag hanging out the window and tons of GOD BLESS THE USA stickers and all, but what really got me was the homemade sign (printed from a home pc, a full 8 1/2" by 11" sheet) with this in the middle:
DOES MY AMERICAN FLAG
OFFEND YOU?
CALL 1-800-LEAVE-THE-USA
i wanted to yell to him THAT'S TOO MANY DIGITS but he was too far ahead of me.

you almost kind of have to hand it to people like that though, i would never have the balls to advertise my political views so aggressively to everyone who's driving around, i'd be worried about people fucking with my car, or with me while i'm driving it. i live in a pretty liberal neighborhood currently, and there's a car on my street that has a "W '04" bumper sticker, and then a smashed taillight right next to it. it looks like someone crashed into it, the bumper's all bent and stuff, it was probably just an accident but still, i have to wonder...
don't take this to mean "i'm conservative and i'm worried about all these liberal faggots fucking with my car", i'm actually liberal myself, in fact i don't even have a car, i'm just saying that political bumper stickers tend to incite people, and you almost kind of have to admire the balls of people who put up such "fuck you"-esque bumper stickers, you know? you might as well have a bumper sticker that says "tailgate me and follow me home"

i have a ton of political stickers on my car :( remember the jerks that hassled me on the way home from the gym one night? mine aren't that insulting though.
i had this great magnetic ribbon that my aunt designed - a tangled knot of a ribbon that says "untangle our troops" - that mysteriously disappeared one day. i don't know if someone stole it for their own use or took it off to be a douche.

one time my mom gave a cashier at a department store a 20 & only got back change for a 10 so she got all pissed & started making a major scene & it ended up with my mom going into the servalience room to check the tapes to see if it was indeed a 20 or not but the camera wasn't set up correctly so it didn't catch anything so when we went home my mom asks my dad on the phone "remember that 20 u gave me today yea well.........wait.......oh it was a 10?"

usually the best way to handle that kind of situation is to remain calm. that's just my opinion. I got change back for a ten at a bar once when I had given the bartender a 20. the guy gave me trouble, but I calmly explained that I had just visited the ATM and only had 20's. the manager was called over and I got my correct change back.
