How do i take a beastie boys picture and screen print it on to a t-shirt?

does anyone know? I'd really like to make my own beastie boys t-shirt.

Oh, and can i just print a picture from google imaging beastie boys and printing a big picture of them from there. Or should i buy a glossy 8x10 or something?

i looked up online, and it looks so complicated. I just want some tips our to read about the personal experience of screen printing from people.

i screen printed one time..

This is not print screening but u get a similar result. I did this a few years ago, so this a very vague method of what I did:

1. u have to by that A4 sticker paper stuff, its not hard to find.
2. draw or print out the stencil onto the paper
3. carve out the stencil using a scalpel or scissors or whatever
4. peel of the back and stick stencil onto wherever u want on the shirt
5. use that special paint to paint
6. peel of sticker
7. wait til it dries
8. wash in washing machine inside out b4 u wear it

not that hard really. :)

I bought this paper from my local computer store where you can print stuff (http://www.clasohlson.se/Product/Product.aspx?id=256759) to iron on your T-shirt, even on a black one, you just print and iron.

i've made lots of shirts from iron on transfer paper.. it's so easy! just remember to print out your image BACKWARDS, becasue you have to flip the paper over to iron it:eek:
