Beastie Boys: The Final Album

We all know this is speculation, but let's look what is many years down the road to the final Beastie Boys' album.

What do you think will be on it, and what do you think the fanfare will be like for it?

I, personally think it will be a double album extravaganza with all their types of music at their best.

LTI era hip-hop, PB era beats, and everything else they excel at from punk to instrumental to whatever, including great new stuff.

It will be the tour of a lifetime.

...just by the decision they went with the album and even by the art cover, there's no way this is going to be there last; would you rather go out with a bang then with a whimper? (And no, the BBs aren't that musically sophisticated like that)

kind of sad, but kind of optmistic in the same sense. i'd hate to see one of them get to the point where they cant actually perform anymore, but at the same time, its nice to think they'd take it that far...

As for the actual topic of this thread- I'm rooting for a multi-style (though I'm assuming some new flavor as the boys continue to grow musically) instant classic. Seems perfectly reasonable to me to expect no less.

of course the beastie boys are known for their ILLNESS! i like the way it sounds now though, that's why i left it out. actually, this is the only title i have ever come up with for an album that didn't contain the word "ILL"! :rolleyes: :D
