You think it'd blow, or it would just be holes? because ive shot a shotgun through cardboard before and it didnt EXACTLEY blow the living shit out of it.. but im gearing more towards a 22 (I think) so im aiming for more or less.. around three holes. BUT, what im asking is would it make three sure fire holes, or would the impact crack the canvas?

no one said anything about "playing" im doing a painting.. my uncle, who was in the navy for 20 years is going to be doing the shooting, not me, and even if I wanted to do the shooting, I can - he's been teaching me for about four years now.

it depends on the calibur. if you had a shotgun it would probably shatter the whole thing. a pistol would probably put a hole in it
