at no point during what felt like the season of spring did i say to myself "ah, it's spring now" or "hey this is some nice spring weather we're having today" or "according to the calendar, it's spring currently", i just didn't think about it. it's like, it was winter, and i acknowledged that it was winter, then the weather got nicer and i just didn't pay any attention to it. now it's all hot and gross and spring has pretty much gone away and i didn't even know it was around.

that sucks, i like spring.
