first off, I just want to say that the setlists from this weekend is a as close as it can get to a perfect setlist!!!
i just hope beasties keep the setlist the same for when they tour my area (i might not be able to wait that long and might have to do some traveling this summer)
this probably one of the most coolest versions of sure shot i have ever herd
live with instruments: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hcb8wTPYMlc

It sounds cool, but I'd like to be there hearing it.
Too many of those (ie too many different songs, too many times) could become played out. But then again, maybe it would just be a matter of staying off the internet.

Sweetness. That's great to hear. I like when they switch it up. It would get boring if they used the same old instrumental and lyrics, but MMM is there to switch up the beats, and they're now focusing more on live instrumentation. They always keep it fresh!

Sounds BaaaaAAAdd Ass.
This was from the Saturday night show, which was supposed to be instrumental only. If they were going to spit, we would have made, it.

They done an EXCEPTIONAL job with it! Especially, since thats the first time they ever played sure shot with live instruments!
A job well done! I never expected this!
Whoever had this idea needs a BIG HUG!

"money mark's on the organ , Im not using the CD"
compare that to Sunday Nights turntable version, which was sick in its own right...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkV6VdgBsX0
i've been thinking about the comparisons, but after watching more of Sunday nights show, and thinking back, they really delivered on both nights, and it is semantics that everyone is concerned about...
technically speaking, Saturday Night was an exclusive instrumental set, in that they played instruments the whole night and surprised everyone with their arrangements... they even announced in the middle of the Wookie set how this was only "a preview" of Sundays set...
do it, sure shot, the maestro? not to mention mark on the bus...
then they brought the noise again for the third night in a row... surprising even more follwers of this band, old and new alike...
just know this..if you have a ticket for the "exclusive instrumental show", you are in for a sick performance
they clearly threw the crowd and the festival organizers for a loop... rumor has it that the mainstage was empty during the Beastie Boys Wookie set... they headlined Sunday but stole the show on Saturday
Beastie Boys pull it off again

I'm glad they get so much love at U.S festivals, especially after Good Vibes.
